Paul Shier: A Journey of Photos
July 28, 2010Broadcast Yo Self: Chris Crawford (JUNE CHAMPION)
July 28, 2010You’ve got nothing better to do, so you might as well sit down and watch this ripper. Broadcast Yo Self is the moving-picture catalyst by which we allegorically open our doors to the public and allow shredders from around the world the chance to be featured on our website. Each month we will sift through our submissions (to submit, simply send us your YouTube or Vimeo link on this page) and choose one unlucky brute to partake in the awesomeness that will be known throughout cyber eternity as Broadcast YoSelf. It’s certainly not going to make anybody famous, but we want the 2 or 3 people that check our website each month to enjoy some skate inspiration. In addition to the dishonor of appearing on thisisabroadcast.com, the winning skater each month will likely start getting phone calls from potential sunglass sponsors and babes in neon bikinis. Check back in a few to see next month’s winner.

July 15, 2010Not the Triads of Morrissey, not the Turbans of Mystery, and certainly not the Turks of Miserlou… it’s the muh-effing Turds of Misery. Some days you just gotta sit back, enjoy a good photo like this and draw your own conclusion. Happy Friday.

Broadcast Yo Self: Jesse Gerold (MAY CHAMPION)
July 8, 2010As you can tell, it took us a while to sift thru the submissions for May! You’ve got nothing better to do, so you might as well sit down and watch this ripper. It’s certainly not going to make anybody famous, but we want the 2 or 3 people that check our website each month to enjoy some fresh content. Anyone Remember This Photo?
June 28, 2010This spot has since been further demoralized, but long before spot-checking and over-production was standard faire, Kris and Dan got together to shoot a photo that would forever haunt many skateboarders who would undoubtedly recall this image any time they sat perched atop a gap. Thanks to the folks at The Chrome Ball Incident for pulling this scan from the archives. TCBI is one of our favorite blogs so if you haven’t already paid them a recent visit, we encourage you to do so. Like, now.

Oh, and here is a product review they did on our urethane a long time ago that we forgot to post. Photos below by Brian Walnum and Ray Zimmerman. Three thumbs up for Shane!
