The Berrics Goes Public (Kind Of)

As usual, we’re  a little late posting this exciting news bit to the blog: The Berrics have opened the first of many (hopefully) skate parks allowing the public to skate terrain that somewhat resembles that which is found in the elusive Berrics park. The opening ceremony was well attended and Paul Shier represented us like a true gent. Check this link for more.

In between trotting the globe, Paul Shier took a moment to sit down with Transworld and comment on some amazing video parts. Mackenzie over at TWS puts it best, “Paul has been a quality act in skateboarding on both sides of the Atlantic for well over a decade now. And through it all you’d be hard pressed to find a single sad soul with something bad to say about him. A.Skate Foundation Clinic Footage

A few Saturdays ago, Paul and Kevin spent the day doing something worthwhile. The A.skate Foundation is a non-profit organization that introduces Autistic kids to the world of Skateboarding by holding skate clinics around the country, often with appearances by pro skateboarders who help the kids learn the basics of rolling around. This program is free to the families of the children.

Even when Kevin Coakley, Mr. Shier-Shier, and Gareth Stehr aren’t skateboarding and filming… they are out skateboarding and filming. This time, The Shierness was operating the camera in order to document the good times.
