Big ups to BRDCST am Connor Getzlaff for his recent pageantry on The Skateboard Mag website with this “howdy neighbor!” front blunt at you-know-where. When everyone else has gone home, Connor is still skating. Photo by Richard, Courtesy of TSM.
Connor And His Nasty Parlour Tricks
August 28, 2010Catching Up With Gareth Stehr
July 31, 2010Hung out with Gareth Stehr the other day and talked about art, motorcycles, and good places to eat in Los Angeles. He’s been working on his bike for a while and soon it will be ready to hit the road, the ultimate motorized vehicle for seeking retribution and good times. There will be some exciting things coming from Mr. Stehr soon. You might want to know that Gary skates the 53mm Hipster Killers.
The Skateboard Mag: Product Geek Approved
March 16, 2010
We all know that TSM is a legit mag. They do it right, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that they Geek’d out on the new Broadcast Wheel Company line. A biggy thanks goes out to the fine folks at The Skateboard Mag for noticing a little brand like Broadcast.
“There’s a new wheel company on the block called Broadcast, and the wheels and team are both looking good. Heavy-hitting pros like Ethan Fowler, Gareth Stehr, Paul Shier, Danny Falla, and Shiloh Greathouse are nothing to be taken lightly. And as far as the urethane goes, Broadcast has all sorts of shapes and sizes and some sweet colors to boot. Try ‘em out when you get the chance.” – The Skateboard Mag. Go to your local skate shop, pick up a copy of Issue 73 and enjoy.
Catching Up With Jeremy Holmes
February 20, 2010In case you haven’t noticed, Jeremy Holmes has been holding it down for the past 12 months. With a tech/silky style reminiscent of many of our heroes in Mouse, it’s obvious that Holmes pays special attention to detail and gets things done properly. Take a moment to catch up with his Skateboard Mag Minute, his HYPE! video promo, and most recently, his feature on the Captain & Casey Show. If you’re like me and can barely stomach the Captain & Casey Show, just FFWD to 3:00 and enjoy. It’s likely that you’re going to want to walk right out the door and go skating.
Nolan Johnson Skateboard Mag Interview
February 12, 2010If you haven’t had a chance to check some of Nolan’s semi-recent coverage from The Skateboard Mag, we highly suggest that you do. Nolan now lives in Seattle, and eats copious amounts of candy and soda to stay healthy and strong for the rigors of the skate season. Long after the other shredders fall off the charts due to alcoholism or discouragement, Nolan will still be skating (and doing it how he wants to) and still having fun.
